Graduated at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Pier Lorenzo Pisano works as actor and assistant director for cinema and theatre. His short film debut as a film director, Così in terra, was selected in a competition at the Cannes Film Festival 2018. At the same time, he devoted himself to writing and was awarded some of the major Italian dramaturgy and screenplay awards.
Per il tuo bene earned Pisano the Riccione Award – Pier Vittorio Tondelli 2017 – under 30 dramaturgy.
Per il tuo bene is a dramatic text and an attempt to understand how to survive the family – if you can get out of it. Dialogues alternate with a particular kind of short monologues, almost statements. In this play, everything is in balance but anything could happen at any moment. However, nothing has happened yet.
