Yearly, ERT organizes VIE, an international Festival founded with the goal of crossing the contemporary scene, of intercepting new identities and subjectivities which stand out in the field of live performance.\u00a0
\nThe project springs from the ten-year lucky experience of\u202fLe vie dei festival\u202f<\/em>that, from 1994 to 2004, has hosted some of the most interesting proposals of Italian and international summer festivals. Mixing languages and genres, showing foreign great theatrical experiences without forgetting the important Italian experimental theatre scene,\u202fLe vie dei festival<\/em>\u202fproposed the works of several artists (Carmelo Bene, Thierry Salmon, Lev Dodin, Peter Brook, Maguy Marin, Joseph Chaikin, Philip Glass, Robert Wilson, Peter Stein, William Kentridge, Motus, Daniel Veronese-El Perif\u00e9rico de objetos, Federico Le\u00f3n \u2026).\u00a0<\/p>\n

VIE Festival, started in 2005, gives to the look the responsibility of searching, of finding, where the strength of the new is hiding today, the artists who are able to explore the areas of contact between the performing arts, the expressive areas where theatre interacts with dance, music, visual arts and cinema.
\nThe idea of modernity is combined immediately with that of complexity, something that is in constant motion and fast in its indefiniteness. The artistic research acts vertically, digging in depth. It does not indicate solutions, but rather raises some doubts. It is inclined to the \u201cuncertain\u201d. At the base of the research for new languages, there is always an urgent reflection on the contemporary world and a need for new content.<\/p>\n

Among the Italian guest artists in its sixteen editions, we remember Pippo Delbono, Teatro Valdoca, Romeo Castellucci, Fanny & Alexander, Virgilio Sieni, Pathosformel, Danio Manfredini, Teatro Delle Albe. Antonio Latella, CollettivO CineticO, Marco D\u2019Agostin.
\nAnd among the foreign: Abbas Kiarostami, Alvis Hermanis, Alain Platel, Eimuntas Nekro\u0161ius, Rimini Protokoll, Tiago Rodrigues\/Mundo Perfeito, Thomas Ostermeier, Toshiki Okada, Belarus Free Theatre, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol, Pedro Penim\/Teatro Praga, Korn\u00e9l Mundrucz\u00f3,\u00a0Mat\u00edas Umpierrez.\u00a0<\/p>\n
