A Beginning #16161D
About this event
A journey from darkness into light by Aurora Bauzà and Pere Jou. Catalan composers at the forefront of the performing arts, they explore the relationship between voice, movement, space and light, creating an essential and immersive work.
Five performers, equipped with portable lights, explore the relationships between different elements in an almost dark environment, where light traces presences, shadows, proximities and separations, at the point where choreography meets vocal and musical composition.
#16161D is the colour perceived by the human brain when we close our eyes. This is the starting point for the performance, which constructs a theatrical narrative around the eternal tension between the individual and the collective, imagining new forms of connection and relationship. For the audience, an authentic physical, sonic and visual experience.
