About this event
AiAiAi Pinocchio! brings Collodi’s classic tale into the age of artificial intelligence and Generation Alpha. The artistic collective Gruppo Ibrido reimagines the story starting from a very concrete question: what would happen if Pinocchio were no longer born from wood, but from pixels, data and algorithms?
Geppa is a digital creator with a passion for technology who attempts to generate a virtual puppet. Equipped with artificial intelligence, Pinocchio learns, grows, develops new skills and begins to question the authority of his creator. Accompanying him are a robotic Talking Cricket and Fata Turkina, a voice assistant who offers guidance along the way.
Conceived and performed by Cinzia Pietribiasi and Davide Tagliavini, the performance combines dance, spoken word, sound, cinema, digital animation, making and robotics. The coming-of-age tale thus becomes a journey between technology and humanity, reality and imagination, in which the desire to become “human” unfolds through a world of screens, data and new forms of relationship.
