F. Perdere le cose

F. can’t stay on stage with us, but he is the protagonist of the performance, the core of the drama. We met F. one day when he approached us and said: I am here. From that day we began to rehearse together a performance that speaks about him, about his history, about who he is, about why he is him. Together we remembered, we run into black holes, removed, teared up pieces, whirling holes on the abyss. From that day on the boundaries of the theatrical space have no longer been the same.

There are laws according to which F. is kept far from the stage and we cannot do anything. All we can do is spending time with him, listening, build up, involving ourselves in this meeting and trying to tell what his absence means for us. Due to the fact that F. is nowhere, he is everywhere. So, we are in front of an absence enourmously lumbering, we cannot avoid to bring on stage.

Perdere le cose is a performance that talks about the obstinate will to meet someone that is very difficult to meet, a huge dismay, the boundary between stage and audience, between what is legal and what is not.
