Editorial project
Since 2018 Luca Sossella Editore and ERT have been publishing Linea, an editorial series of texts of new dramaturgy mostly related to ERT productions. The text as a theatrical exhibit, the text as a sign of the memory of a theater which by its nature is ephemeral, with the aim therefore of blocking on paper the thought, the word, the text, the skeleton of that body of flesh and blood which it’s the show.
In 2019 also LineaExtra was born, a parallel series that looks beyond national borders to investigate distant dramaturgies.
The series are a tangible, dynamic, living sign that looks at the scene from the point of view of the written page. Handwriting and materials of the creative process, a memory “in the present”, to trace its path, reasons, and expressive roots.
